I had a garage sale ten days ago. A lady wanted to put a hold on three bookcases I was selling and come back the next day before noon. She paid toward total. I told her that if she didn’t come back by noon the next day, that I would sell the bookcases and she’d lose the money on hold.
She never came back on Sunday and her daughter called monday and asked if they could come get them. I said yes and we waited for 3 hours monday night. they never came. So i’ve waited nearly 8 hours for this dumb woman. I sold the bookshelves on ebay.
Now they have been calling and coming to my house telling my husband and I we are theives and they want the . I said no, they can’t have it based on the original terms, not to mention how much of my time they’ve wasted.
What should I do about this woman??
