This is Part 6 of my Myst IV walkthrough. Book Shelf – puzzle hint: While there are other ways to do this, mainly comparing the family tree (youngest to oldest) and or the Dni (alphabet / language) which I showed and took pictures of in previous videos. For purposes of this guide, the solution is below. **SPOILER** I numbered the books on the top shelf (left to right) from 1-8, and the books on the bottom shelf as 9-16. The solution is as follows: (12, 6, 8, 3, 14) Elevator – puzzle hint: Simply put, the objective of this puzzle is to light up all the “dotted” buttons. You can do that as follows: **SPOILER** For purposes of this guide, think of this puzzle solution like the game called Battleship. You’re calling out targets such as (I believe your Destroyer is at A8). That being said, here’s the grid system I used. The left most vertical column is labeled (from top to bottom) A (1st row), B (2nd row), C (3rd row), D (4th row), E (5th row), F (6th row) where A1 is the button at the top left corner, and F1 is the button at the bottom left corner. The top row will be A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 (from left to right) And the bottom row is F1, F2 and so forth. Thus, the solution is: B2, E1, D3, D4, C6, E8, F6 Hope this helps everyone!
