Garage Sale…what is the best way to get rid of all I have for sale?

I have ALOT of stuff that I am not attached to and I just want to get rid of it. I would prefer to try to sell the items (books, tables, end tables, antiques, lighting fixtures, baby items, art, religious items, Christmas decorations, desks, bookshelves) instead of just getting a dumpster.
I had a garage sale last week, on a Tuesday, from 1pm – 5pm. I only got 4 customers, and only made .75, selling smaller items that I could have just donated to the salvation army.
So, after my sale, I went through everything and donated all the clothes, most of the books, and the smaller household items and antiques to the Salvation Army. The second sale is this coming Friday, from 2pm – 7pm (It CAN’T be on a weekend). I am advertising in the newspaper, in local supermarkets, at the local hospital, I am also putting up flyers throughout the city. Last time, I did all of the above EXCEPT advertising in the newspaper. I am putting in all of my advertisements that everything is .00 or less.
I didn’t have enough room to be clear with my question, I guess.
What I want to know, with what you already know about my sale, what can I do to help make EVERYTHING sell this coming Friday, from 2pm – 7pm. I want EVERYTHING GONE by Friday.
I want an empty garage that I can park in. All this stuff was left my former tenants of my apartment building. Now that I am dating the owner of the building, I want to get rid of all this stuff.
Its not all in perfect condition, most of it is in FAIR condition.
How do I sell it ALL in ONE DAY?

If you are truly unattached to things then you should be able to easily rid yourself of most everything you put out.
My first tip would be to set up a "1 Item Free With Any Purchase" table close to the area where you will be taking cash. This is a great place to set out items that (although you loved them at one time) probably wont sell on their own.
Secondly, If you have a small area where you can rope off and scatter a few toys on the ground this is great for those potential customers that are stuck dragging their 3yr olds around with them while shopping for a bargain. Even better if you have a girlfriend or teenage family member that might volunteer to hang out in their with the kiddo’s.
    Hope your sale goes GREAT!!
